History of ATIL/CCL
ATIL/CCL was created in January 1972 to promote youth travel and youth exchanges between France and other European countries and the United States.
Since it's creation, the main goal of ATIL/CCL was to strengthen and promote international friendship through student travel and student exchanges. Student groups have been traveling to the USA since 1983.
Students have been traveling to gateway cities in the US since 1983, including Phoenix, San Diego, Orlando, and Scranton, Pennsylvania for brief stays with volunteer host families.

Arizona as a Host State
Arizona Families have been welcoming French students for the past 17 years.
An average of 14-18 students arrive in a group each July for the opportunity to spend approximately three weeks with a volunteer host family.
Host families are always needed and being sought to support this experience for new students.
